Actress Urvashi Violates Sikh Religion’s Protocol on Stage

For the sake of pictures, people now days just do anything and don’t take seriously religious sentiments.

During the 351st Gurpurab celebrations of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji at the Dadar Gurdwara Sahib in Juhu Mumbai the Sikh Code of Conduct was broken by actress Urvashi for openly displaying the Kirpan and posing for pictures. The actress further broke the Code of Conduct when she touched the feet of the Akal Takht Jathedar in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Many on social media are blaming the Jathedar for not properly stopping her from doing so.

Many people on social media wondered why Bollywood actors were getting siropas and kirpan when their contribution to the religion is zero. The Siropa is only suppose to be given to people who’ve contributed to the religion.

To some of the Bollywood actors it became a picture frenzy and less about respecting the religious sentiments of the Sikh religion. The actors live in limelight and they surely turned the religious event into a Bollywood event.

According to the Sikh Conduct, no one should touch the feet of anyone under Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s presence. The fact is occurred with the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib is further worrying.

Urvashi tires to take the Kirpan out of the sleeve

The Sikh man sitting next to her gives her a hand

She starts to pose for pictures

Surrounding people don’t think it was a great idea for taking the Kirpan out of the Sleeve

She thinks she’s at a Bollywood event and poses with the open Kirpan

This went further downhill after she touched feet of the Akal Takht Jathedar in presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

The organizers are to blame for the disrespect shown to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as they should’ve given the religious protocols to the actors before they arrived. Sikhs on
